what is led spd?
LED Surge Protective Device (LED SPD stands for Surge Protective Device, which protects LED drivers and luminaires against lightning surges and voltage spikes to avoid burnout.)
What are the standards for LED SPD?
1. IEC 61643-11 / EN 61643-11 IEC 61643-21;2 UL 1449;3 GB/T 18802.11
Does this SPD require grounding when used in Class II luminaires?
Grounding is not required. According to the international electrotechnical standard (IEC 60598-1), theprotection against electric shock for Class II luminaires relies on double insulation or reinforced insulation. It does not require nor is it permitted to rely on. protective earthing (PE)as a safety measure.
Can you provide CB test reports for both 10kV and 12kV? Whichcertification body issues these reports?
We can provide the 12kV test report, and the 12kV rating is fully compatible with 10kV. The certification body is DEKRA.
Can this product be provided with an ENEC certificate?
Yes, we can provide the ENEC certificate. Our products have passed the EN 61643-11:2025 test and can beupgraded to the ENEC certificate. Please note that the certificate fee will need to be covered by the certificateholder.
Do you accept custom orders, and if so, what are the requirements?
We fully accept product customization. Labels, terminal colors, and packaging can all be customized. The Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) is 3,000 pcs.
