It integrates OVP overvoltage protection, UVP undervoltage protection and high-performance LED SPD lightning surge suppression into one compact unit, solving grid voltage abnormality and lightning surge damage to LED driving systems at the same time.

For municipal outdoor street lights, our integrated OVP UVP LED surge suppressors adopt 20KA (8/20ΞΌs) maximum single discharge current and 20kV open circuit voltage, classified as T2 & T3 type in compliance with EN 61643-11. The built-in thermally protected SPD module will disconnect automatically under excessive lightning surge to avoid damage to LED drivers. Meanwhile, the OVP cuts off power when mains voltage over 280Vac and UVP shuts down the circuit below 150Vac, offering all-round voltage protection for long-term outdoor lamp operation.
How do the OVP and UVP functions of LED SPD surge suppressors solve street light flickering issues?
This all-in-one LED surge suppressor combines OVP overvoltage protection and UVP undervoltage protection. It features a 3-second anti-flickering circuit to eliminate lamp flicker caused by grid voltage spikes, plus soft-start design to lower inrush current when powering on. Two indicator lights are equipped: O/LVP indicator for over/under voltage faults and SPD EOL indicator to show the end-of-life status of surge protection components, making daily maintenance of outdoor street lights much easier.

Our LED SPD surge suppressors support series installation, available in two versions: terminal connection type and wire lead type to fit different wiring spaces inside street light housings. It reaches IP67 waterproof rating with a wide working temperature range of -40β to +55β, stable for all outdoor weather conditions. Full L-N, L-PE, N-PE surge protection channels are provided, with CE, CB and RoHS certifications, ideal for highway, community and tunnel LED street light projects.
