This LED SPD lightning surge arrestor is Type 2+3 combined surge protection device complying with IEC 61643-11 & EN 61643-11 standards, designed for Class II outdoor LED luminaires. It adopts screw terminal connection with a green status indicator light to show working status clearly. With 10KV surge protection capacity, it rapidly diverts lightning surges and transient overvoltage to safeguard LED drivers. Compact size allows easy installation inside street lights, flood lights and other outdoor lamps. Certified with CE, CB and RoHS, wide operating temperature range ensures stable performance in all outdoor harsh environments, equipped with thermal disconnection for fire prevention.

Higher kA ratings mean the device can withstand more frequent and powerful surges, ensuring a longer lifespan for the entire luminaire.
"What is the difference between Series and Parallel installation? Which is better?
We offer both versions to suit your project requirements: Parallel: Easier to install. If the SPD fails, the light stays on but is no longer protected. Series: This is the preferred choice for most professional projects. When the SPD reaches its end-of-life, it automatically disconnects power to the fixture. This ""failsafe"" mode alerts maintenance teams to replace the SPD, ensuring the expensive LED luminaire is never left unprotected."
